HIDDEN ESSENCE

‘The Gemma Leakey Hidden Essence Collection’ is a beautiful capsule collection of bridal gowns and separates that’s really close to my heart. Taking my passion for sustainable couture and simple elegance, the wedding dresses here take their inspiration from nature. 

Transparent, delicate fabrics are juxtaposed with long flowing clean lines and laces take on a natural organic look, featuring embroidered flowing lines reminiscent of nature’s intertwining roots and climbing tendrils. Barely there venetian lace trims feature as cuffs and waistbands, along with shimmering iridescent beading and sequins adding a touch of glamour to these otherwise contemporary silhouettes. 

This exquisite collection of sustainable wedding gowns is made for modern romantics. Relaxed yet elegant, they’re perfect for the stylish, eco conscious bride.

The current collection is now available to try on in the studio. I am based in a small quaint village called Bredon, on the Worcestershire/ Gloucestershire border. 

The dresses are all currently made in size 10/12 as this is our sample size. If this isn't your size, but you love one of our dresses, please don't panic, as a sustainable brand, all the dresses are made in the UK from a high end factory with a fast turnaround, so you can see your dress in your size within as little as 10 weeks of placing your order. 

The appointments will be with myself, Gemma, the designer and owner of the business. It can last up to an hour, where you can enjoy a glass of fizz, whilst we discuss your dream dress. You have the option to bring along any friends and family to the appointment if you wish. All the dresses on offer are also customisable so feel free to discuss changing sleeves, necklines etc as you wish.
